Shatter the Chord

Published 30 October 2026

Shatter the Chord is a high-energy fusion of Drill and Bass and Drum and Bass, delivering an immediate bassline, driving groove, and a cold open that grabs attention from the first beat. The track blends modern electronic elements with traditional instrumentation like the bass saxophone, xylophone, and glockenspiel, all wrapped in a sparse yet powerful arrangement. With a festive mixed choir, childlike vocal character, and a Yorkshire vocal accent, the song merges modern production with organic, live-room textures. The lyrics explore themes of raw sound, unfiltered energy, and the collision of tradition and modernity, all while maintaining a continuous, unbroken groove. 🔥🎧💥 #ShatterTheChord #DrillAndBass #DrumAndBass #ElectronicMusic #LiveRoomVibes #FestiveChoir #ChildlikeVocal #YorkshireAccent #DastgahHarmony #RawSound
